It’s Monday again, really? Listen, I am not wishing time away but it really is crazy in my opinion how quickly time is flying by.  I think I have become more aware of time and to appreciate every hour, minute and second I have and to really make the most of them.

This week has been another epic week.  I kicked off the week by teaming up with Tommy Hilfiger, Belfast to showcase some of their new stock for Autumn Winter on my Instagram and to give away a new Lewis Hamilton tee.  The new stock is really good and there is definitely something for anyone.  I was a massive fan of Tommy back in the nineties and in my opinion the brand really has got it’s mojo back.

Also back in the 90’s before we had ‘snickers’ bars, we had marathon.  Same thing, different name.  I am a sucker for nostalgia so I was delighted to learn this week that the ‘marathon’ bar is making a comeback.  I know what your thinking, so what? Same chocolate, different wrapper!  You would be right.  Anyhow it doesn’t really affect me, as they are available on a limited run being sold in Morrison’s and therefore only available in England.  If you’re heading that way bring us one back.

I spent two days with a footballing legend this week.  Former Liverpool player, Graeme Souness was in town.  I had the pleasure of interviewing the 3-time European Cup winner about his career at the reds, his managerial career and how TV has now extended his career in football to over 50 years.  I hosted two events with him and had the opportunity to play golf with him at Carnalea golf club outside Bangor.  Even on a round of golf, you could see Graeme’s fighting spirit and determination to win.  He was nothing short of a gentleman and openly discussed his ups and downs in football and his private life.  He was very inspiring, extremely funny and very honest.  A big thank you to 1stBangor Liverpool Supporters Club for inviting me to host the events and ask the questions.

Finally this week I teamed up further. Space to take my family glamping for the very first time.  The company are setting up the coolest of cool pods in the most picturesque places in the country so families, couples and friends can enjoy the great outdoors in the most comfortable and quirky way.  I think I’ll let the video we created do the talking.

We had such a great time and can highly recommend a stay.  They are great all year round, fully heated, with proper double bed, bunk beds, electricity, fridge, running water with ensuite shower and toilet inside.   Our trip was on site at Glenarm, Co.  Antrim. More locations will be released soon, keep an eye out online at further.space

Thanks for stopping by this week,

Pete
